Greg Laswell’s studio might be crammed with state-of-the art synthesizers, samplers, and recording gear, but when its time to get down to the business of writing music, Laswell finds the inspiration — and the tools — he needs in his MacBook and GarageBand. “You can do so much with GarageBand, from recording to composing to effects,” he states. “It’s fun and it’s part of being a musician this day.
